Beautiful Ink

I'm finding it hard to review this book without giving to much away but I did my best.

Fuck me sideways! I finished up this book on Saturday.... it's Monday and I can't stop thinking about it. A book with MC's and tattoos, yes please!

The book captivated me from the beginning. The prologue will leave you thinking WHAT THE FUCK? I found myself reading faster and faster for just a smidgen, a glimmer of any answers to my questions.

I needed Keller to love Holden I much as I did. It BROKE MY HEART that she could blame him for protecting and defending her. Holden worshiped the ground her selfish little feet walked on. He lived his life for her and she just walked away.

Vin was amazing but I was not okay with him and Keller having any sort of relationship. For me she was Holden's.

Beautiful Ink was an emotional, raw, gritty read that will suck you in from the moment you start reading.

Maybe Matt's Miracle-Reed Brothers #4

"Are you in love with me yet?" .....AHHH swoon.

I'm in love with the Reed brothers that's for sure. They are sweet and tendered hearted, yet fierce and loyal. The perfect family all balled up into a yummy package. Like the additional books in the series, Maybe Matt's Miracle, was low on angst, which works for me. I  dislike misunderstandings between the hero and heroine throughout a book that comes from lack of communication. Other then the wedding fiasco, there was none here. Matt wore is heart on his sleeve, almost to a somewhat mushy point. Matt and Skylar had the instant love/family thing going on, which is not always my favorite but it works for them. The sex was HOT but the story was semi predictable. An enjoyable read that's for sure.

You're Not Safe (Texas Rangers #2)

Title: You're Not Safe
Series: Texas Rangers #2
Author: Mary Burton
Publication: Zebra Books (Mass Market) (March 25, 2014)

Ratings:4/5

You're Not Safe was a suspenseful, gripping romance that unfortunately lacked the romance. Burton managed to keep me in the dark on the identity of the killer for the entire book; not suspecting the killer was who is was until the reveal at the end. Burton approaches the subject of suicide and troubled teens delicately while still proceeding to enlighten and entertain. The love/romance aspect of the story was slow building and lacking. I would call it more a murder mystery then a romance novel. It was a good story altogether regardless of the wanting romance. I unfortunately read the story out of order in the series and will have to go read No Escape next.

Road Head

You know she's a keeper if you're proud enough to take her to a family function...And she'll give you road head the whole way there.

Two people from different world's, but brought together by their individual losses.  Kate, a young woman fresh out of college looking for a job and to get her life back meets Ryker, a widower and pro hockey player.  He offers her an opportunity to help her get back on her feet.  Together they work through their differences and become friends and then more.  Ryker shows her that even with the playboy image that  people portray him as, he really is a good guy who can just be there for her until she's ready.  I really loved this book and can't wait to read their continuing story in Captive. I give this book 5 stars. A review for Captive to come soon.......

I really liked this book, it was funny, HOT, and a good little romance story. Natalie's grandmother really cracked me up! She is a little old lady who loves to play matchmaker and stir up trouble. Cade and Kale are two Montana cowboys who are best friends and happen to share women from time to time.

It Ain't Me, Babe-Tillie Cole

I really fucking loved this book. I am a huge fan of MC outlaw books and this one had a totally different take from the norm. In the author's note we find that Mae's life in the commune was inspired by the testimonies of ex-members from several NRM's, making this book that much more powerful. Tillie Cole's take on the MC's in the Hangmen was exceptional. She wrote a book that could have been sordid and abhorrent, instead gave us a story about strength and family. Absolutely a five star book for me.

I really hope this is made into series. I would love to read about her sisters and their love interests.

I hate to write bad reviews but I really didn't like this book. I hoped the book would get better as the story progressed, unfortunately it did not. The writing style and characters felt juvenile and forced. I more or lesse skimmed over the last half of the book just trying to get to the end.
I would have to rate this book 2 stars which is surprising to me because of all the good reviews.
